David Farmer

David began his career in 1977 in the Miller Company’s Land Division as a real estate associate working on land development projects and the lease up of small industrial and retail properties.  David’s strong focus on management steered him to the property management area where he oversaw the management company, property managers, leasing and accounting  for the HDW Group.

Prior to retirement in 2017, David served as Chief Operating Officer for Invesco Real Estate, overseeing the management of real estate assets for institutional investors around the world.  While working with Invesco for over 30 years in various areas of the company, David demonstrated a knowledge of the real estate industry and a unique style of communicating with clients and colleagues in the areas of asset and portfolio management along with sound executive management of the company.  

Throughout David’s career, he has always seen opportunity in solving challenging business issues and in developing “leading edge” service models.
