🚨 What's new?
Property Type will default suites to the same primary use, but those can be adjusted at the suite level if needed. Those suite type specific deal terms will then be accessible during deal negotiation so users can accurately track deal terms for mixed-use properties.
EX: If an Office Property has some first floor retail in that office building, you can adjust those individual suites so that retail specific deal terms are accessible throughout the leasing process for those retail spaces.
Deals made on industrial properties now have the opportunity to add parking in Deal Terms.
💪 Why is it valuable?
Mixed-use properties are becoming more common in today's market and there needs to be a way for users to be able to accurately capture the primary use at the suite level and for the deals on the suite to reflect that.
We value data accuracy at Dottid. With the suite's default use value now matching the property type and the added flexibility to differentiate the suite's use from the property, users continue to have less gaps in their data when it's in Dottid.
